I took a bagel class at The Gourmandise School on Saturday and made the best bagels I think I've ever had! Seriously I don't know if can buy them in the store again! They were so much easier to make than I expected.
I like mine on the thinner side and these had the perfect crackly crunch when toasted, but still tender in the middle.. They had lots of seasoning options but i did all of mine with everything bagel seasoning and a little parmesan on them. they are sooo good.
I still eat my bagels the way my dad always did, toasted with lots of cream cheese and Jarslberg. Cheers to my dad who passed away 31 years ago today. Another great class from my favorite cooking The Gourmandise School in Santa Monica Place!
